my dad flew to kuwait...

i was terrified that i might lose my dad. you see, he flew his jet to kuwait. he was gone for a while. i thought that while i slept, that he might not come home. there were a couple of kids in my school where their fathers were in iraq or somewhere near it, but no one could feel my pain. my dad was flying a jet and could have been shot down. i couldn't sleep peacefully knowing that my dad was out there trying to protect himself and the country. he wrote letters every once in awhile. it still didn't make me feel better. i would cry in school, but made it so that nobody would notice. whenever one of my teachers would mention 9-11-01, i would start to sob. i started to feel better when my dad said he on his way home. now i know my dad will always be safe. because i love him too much, and nothing can happen to him while i'm alive. my dad's kevin, the great.
