i have only seen my husband cry twice...at the birth of our daughter in 1999 and on 9/11/01. one of his best friends from the marine corps is a police officer in lower manhatten. we tried for days to reach him...when we finally reached him, we found out that 9/11/01 was his scheduled day off. he had been working 12-18 hours straight since then, but his life had been spared. god bless america..!!! we will never forget those who have lost their lives and their surviving family members..!! my thoughts and prayers are with them.
