on september 11, 2001 i was getting ready for work when my husband called me into the room to look at the tv which was on cnn at the time. as i came through the doorway of our bedroom the second plane was heading straight for the south tower. i remember saying to my husband, "my god are there people on that plane?". i called my family in new york city to make sure everyone was o.k. and thank god everyone was fine. my mother works on 28th st and 7th ave. and could see the towers as they burned. it was a very sad day for america. a day i known i will never forget.
