the night before sep.11, my husband and i with our children were driving home and stopped to watch fireworks off in the distance. i felt completely safe and truly unaware of our freedom we take for granted. the next morning my mother called from work and quickly said to turn the t.v. to any network besides cartoons and said "we are under attack." i quickly changed the station. i watched the second plane hit. i was in awe. i felt scared, not knowing if that was the end or just the beginning. i truly feel for all the families and friends that lost someone. i watched and prayed for days and days. seeing all the people looking desperetly for their loved ones broke my heart. i hug my children a lot more. i tell my husband i love him when he goes to work. i feel my view of life has changed. i don't feel as safe as before. i pray for all of us everyday.
