never want that feeling again

on september 11, 2002 i was in my first period class @ st. joseph's college when i started to over hear people talking about a plane crash. at this point i was not sure what had happened. immediately after class i ran outside to go home (at this point i knew something terrible had happened, but i was not sure what). when i got outside of my school people were crying and they all had their cell phones to their ears. i ran into my car and put 106.1 on and heard screaming and crying over the radio. now all i could think about was my boyfriend who is a nyc police officer. my whole way home i was trying to call him on his cell but the phones were not working. this could not be happening is all i kept thinking and praying to god that my boyfriend was not hurt. when i got home i was a mess waiting to here from my boyfriend to make sure he was o.k. one hour later i am blessed to say i heard from him and he was o.k. the conversation lasted two seconds but that was all i needed.
today, a year later, i am thankful and blessed to have my hero still by my side. to those who lost someone to this horrible tragedy my heart goes out to you. i hope together as americans nothing like this ever happens again & it won't as long as we stick together, stay strong, and always be aware and never afraid to question anything. @---- @---- @----- @----- @------ @------
