there was none of the usual fast-paced, pushy, boston-style driving (aka: road rage) that day durring my morning commute, just fear. everyone was scared, i think. i was terrified, i didn't want to be alone. i raced to work to find people huddled in groups around computers and radios listening to the story as it unfolded, a tower had collapsed, thousands of people were dead. i remember thinking to myself, this is not a movie, this is actually happening. i felt helpless here in boston, i wanted to be there helping... my heart went out to them. i spent the rest of the day watching the news, half expecting another large scale attack. that night, before i went to bed, i prayed for peace and for all the people who had lost a loved one... and all the loved ones who died.
