how 9 - 11 affected me

that one horriable day affected me big time..thank g-d i did not lose any loved ones but it affected me mentally. and when i saw the shots of people jumping out of the buildings... i was horrorfied...!!! and then when the two buildings droped, my heart sank and a tear came out of my eye...(me a guy who doesn't cry over anything) later on they showed shots of firefighters going up the stairs as people ran down. that shot kinda stayed w/ me and a couple of months later i decided to go and join my own voulenteer fire dept. so now i am a voulenteer fire fighter and i am thinking about going out for the fdny.
so i guess it showed me that i would like to be like those brave fdny's and risk my life to help other people.
