where i was one 9-11-01

it seemed to be an average day at school. it was the end of 3rd period and i was going out to my locker before the bell rang as usual. as i walked back into class i heard someone say that the pentagon had been bombed...all the tv's in the classrooms were on. i walked into class and told my teacher... we turned on the tv and watched. when the bell rang we went to our next class and continued to watch. then when the news of the towers came up we were devistated. it didn't seem possible. from being form a small town something like this devistated us all. noone could believe what had just happened to our country.
now that months have passed and people have moved on i still think of the towers and the loss of life that people have gone through. i just returned from new york city a few days ago. i went with my high school band and it was so unreal how the city has seemed to come together. i will always remeber where i was on 9-11-01 and the devistation it brought to the world.
