i was at work the day our nation was attacked. i was working for
a grocery store in texas on that fateful day. i was standing with
a fellow co-worker when a friend from the produce department came up to us both and his words were those that no one wishes
or dreams of hearing. these were his words: "a hijacked plane has just kamikazied into the world trade center!" never have i felt
such anguise or disbelief in my life. i thought america was untouchable but i was wrong. if the hate is so strong in a human being than anything is possible. my first reaction to those words
was find a tv fast and see if his statement was true because at first i honestly thought he was joking. appearantly he wasn't joking
and america was really under attack. i watched in horror as so many lives were lost when the second world trade center imploded
before my very eye's. why would someone want to take the lives
of so many innocent people???? my life will never be the same because my father did work for the world trade center. i lived in
new york almost 2 years what if our very lives had been taken from us that fateful day?????
