ironically, i was giving blood on 9-11 as i was watching the attacks. i told the nurse, "you better take 3 more tubes out of me, because we'll need them for those people over in ny". i never felt so angry at another human being in my life. i hope many other people who gave blood feel they've accomplished something. we did. we did our best to try and save countless lives by donating blood.
