sept. 11th "a date which will live in infamy"
i worked in the world trade center #2, my wife worked in wtc #1.
when i heard the rumble almost like thunder, i had no idea what it was. as people were rushing out of the building i stopped some guy and asked what the commotion was. he said "a plane has just hit tower 1. all i could think about was my wife. i went it wtc tower 1 and tried to find her, then i got a call on my cell phone. it was her and i was relieved to hear she was out of the building. then i heard a screechy noise, and then i saw all this dust so i went outside and saw that the tower was collapsing. i kept running and running but the dust caught up to me, i went under a car to protect myself. the dust was so thick that it lifted the car i was under, and if i hadn't held on to a board that was nailed down i would have went with it. i lay there uncontious, the next thing i knew i was in the hospital. i almost died because i lost so much blood, because of the generousity and kindness of the people in this country that donated blood, i was able to live. if there is anyone reading this that donated blood, thank you.
