It started out just like any ordinary day

i will never forget that day! ever! i woke up around 8:00am and was out the door by 8:45am. i had to go and pick someone up for work, when on the radio i heard the dj's say that the wtc was hit by a plane. immediately i figured it was an accident because that's what everyone was saying on the radio. then when i got to the my co-workers house the second plane has hit. they began saying that this could be a navigational error. but i figured it was probably a terrorist attack. i speed to work like going 20 miles over the speed limit. when i got to work around 9:30am i first saw the smoke raising from the new york city skyline. i just couldnt beleive it. it was seemed like a short time after that when the pentagon got hit. i asked my store manager if i was dreaming this, i just didnt seem real. when you work in sales you see a lot of people but the people that i say were all watching the tv. no one was buying. just after that one of the buildings collapsed and then the other one. there were these people that just came in and didnt have a clue what was going on except an airplanes had hit the buildings. when i told them the buildings had collapsed, i just could not describe the confusion in their faces. needles to say everyone that came in that day seemed a bit edgy and from my point of view seemed to be terrified of what was going on. my grandmother lived through pearl harbor and when i talked to her she said the only time she has ever felt so much terror was on december 7, 1941. well just like the title of my short story of events that took place. it started out just like any ordinary day. thank you reading and god bless you all!!!
