sept. 11 will always have a big place in my heart.

on sept. 11, 2001 i was at school like almost every other teenager was. i heard of the incident during my first hour class p.e. from a parent of a fellow classmate. not knowing how serious it was i went on about my merry way at another boring day of school. it wasnt until my 2nd hour class did i hear about the importance of it when the 8th grade english teacher came in and asked if my teacher could come out into the hall. my teacher was gone maybe 5 min. but when she walked into the room my heart sank and hearing the words i could feel tears rising in my eyes. my english teacher is very patriotic and a proud american so she told us if we felt like we needed to pray or say anything please do so. so i sat there in my desk and prayed my heart out and asked for forgiveness and asked the lord to please watch over the famililes of the lost ones. i didnt know anyone aboard those planes or in the twin towers, but i felt so heartbroken on that day that is was like i was almost as lifeless as the ones who lost their lives as heros, proud americans, normal people who had to die because of the hatred of our great country. sept. 11,2001 will always have a big place in my heart as i hope it will every other american or human being!
