early we woke for a shiny day
the sky was bright, no sight of gray
we went to school as teachers were calling
not knowing that soon our hearts would be falling
osama was hoping to follow his plan
as he knew our day had just began
the 1st plane hit and the ower had rumbled
by this time now our hearts were crumbled
so many lives have already been lost
as we then see the 2nd plane come right across
as it stopped our hearts for a moment or 2
as we are hoping now his plan is through
we watched in horror as the death toll rises
as we are hoping for no more surprises
the sky was black but night was not near
already our hearts were set in fear
the day soon passed as nighttime
as we knew our lives would never be the same
the lives that were lost we will always regret
but september 11 we will never forget.
