let me start off by saying that i was a 100% gore fan before this war ever happened.
i was asleep on september 11, 2001 when the 2 planes crashed into the twin towers. i was awaken by a former friend who said "put on the news right now , we are at war". i was in a state of shock and was trying to reach my mother by phone, she was in florida at the time( i think she left 2-3 days before all of this non sense) the phone lines were all tied up and i was very worried. i watched the news that whole day and witnessed the terror on many peoples faces in nyc & washington (va.) i also watched to see where the president was and what his words and actions were going to be. i was very moved and effected by his actions and words that day & night. for some reason i was starting to really like george bush in a major way (respected him). tears came down my face all the day and the following days after, i kept my self in the house and was alone for many days. it was not that i was scared but more comfortable knowing that i was safe at my own house.
days after this terror. the sadness stayed within my soul and even today i am still effected by the terror on september 11, 2001.
i never liked to fly and haven't since september 11, 2001 but i am going to fly this coming october so please wish me luck.
