september 11, 2001: a day which changed the nation. securities were not so safe and our nation shook for a mere 24 hours. the terrorists did not succeed. their plot to break the nation apart in mad chaos simply brought americans nationwide closer together. today, more than ever, americans feel closer and safer just having gone through this tragedy. to those who were not directly affected by losing a family member or a friend, do not forget this day. nobody will forget, but use this day, 9/11, as a constant reminder of all that you have. don't take things for granted. today, the one-year anniversary of the attacks, people mourn, remember, comfort one another, and find hope for america's future. light a candle for those lost or say a prayer to commemorate the victims. united we stand. the terrorists will not win. we will never forget.
