 my day

of course my day started off as usually. it was in my third week of my senior year of highschool. what a fulfillment that year was to bring to me. i was on my way to pick up carpool for school when i heard it on the radio, and it took a little bit of time for it to register in my head what the radio had just said. i really didn't understand what was going on. i arrived at school and that is all anyone was talking about, but still i don't thionk anyone knew how bad everything was going to result in. my day continued and we all continued to watch the tv. i went to work after that and the first thing i did was call my mom. i needed to hear a comforting voice. that night my mom, dad, and i all watched tv together all night long. it was a day i will never forget. it is now a year later and i have graduated from highschool and now in college. i think to myself a lot about some of the teenagers that didn't make it through their senior year of highschool and didn't get to walk down that graduation aisle with their fellow classmates. my class all did walk together as one and we walked as one in the memory of 911. we the graduating class of 2002 of rosary highschool in st. louis, you are all in our prayers.
