when the 9.11 attacks happened, i was at school. it was just a regular ordinary day. it was in 3rd or 4th period when i first found out about what happened. i was in the halls and i saw a girl in my grade crying, saying "my uncle was in the world trade center" and she continued saying "planes .. the towers" at first i had no idea what was going on. it didn't even cross my mind that 2 planes would crash into the towers. then, when i reached 5th period, my history teacher told us all about what happened. we watched cnn, and it was just such a horrible day. every class after that we watched the news. i cried so much because my aunt lives in washington d.c., and when i heard about the pentagon and the plane crashing into the pennsylvania field, things got even worse for me. i'm very close to my aunt, and if something happened to her or her family, i would be devestated. but luckily, they were at home that day and they we're not in danger. *i still cannot believe this has happened. it's almost been a year, and it hasn't come to me yet. the trade towers are no more. thousands were killed on that horrible day.* my heart goes out to anyone who lost someone on 9/11. god bless you all and america
