the day of 9/11

for me this was just a normal day, i was in my first period newspaper class, when a teacher ran into class telling my teacher to put our tv on. so when the tv came on we were all sitting there in disbelief about what had happened. i was just sitting there wanting to cry. as soon as that period was over i called my house and asked my sister if she had seen the news, she told me that she did and that she could not believe what had happened. then when i got home my parents and i were talking about it. my father was in the marines when he was 20 and he wanted to go and fight for our rights with the others. from then on every day in my newspaper class we would talk about the 9/11 tragedy. i will never forget that day, where i was, what i was doing and what i was wearing. i've prayed for the family's of the 9/11 victims and i will keep praying. stay strong
