the day of the tragedy, i was skipping school and was on my way to get drunk and abuse some of the most dangerous drugs. i was at my "de's" house to get some cocane when suddenly my heart felt like it was breaking into. so i asked him to turn on the news and there it was....the towers plumiting to the ground! i screamed my biological father worked there. he and my mother split when i was a baby but we were still extremely close. they found remains of the only person who i ever trusted. now i am a recovered addict and i haven't touched a single drop of alcohol. i realized that there is more to life than a buzz. since then i haven't missed a day of scool or work. and i've never been happier.
