i was driving south on beam road.
as i was slowing to stop at the shopton road
intersetion, n.p.r. stop their broadcasting,
they told us about what had happened.
i pulled off of the road at 9:35 and
called my wife and then mom.
my generation will remember this day
for the rest of our lives.
it is now a seed of what will be our future.
we are one nation now.
we will not forget our fallen,
we will not forget the ones who
died saving them.
we will not forget the pain we saw,
the horror in their eyes as we watch them die.
but we will not let them win.
we will fight for what is right.
and they will not move us like that again.
hear me now...
they will not win.
