i think that people should look at september 11th as both terror and sadness and as a wake up call. literally. the united states has taken *so* much for granted that what happened made us realize that. i'm not saying that i'm glad this happened, i'm just saying that i'm glad that this came out of what happened. i was at school watching the news with my history teacher when the first plane crashed (i got there early), and i was absolutely terrified. i thought a plane might've gone out of control or something similiar to that, but when i watched the second plane crash only a few moments later, i knew that the united states of america, the strongest nation in the world, was under attack. a whole bunch of teachers and kids gathered around my teacher and i, and watched in absolute true horror as we watched everything unfold and take place on that terrible terrible day. i think that america has come out of this crisis stronger and more prepared than before, and we as americans, should never...ever, forget that.
