what shock?

i was sitting in my journalism class when the teacher turned on the t.v. and they were actually showing the second plain crashing into the world trade centers. i was like in total shock...just sitting there with my mouth open in suprise. i didn't know what to think...i was so confused, so scared. people in my class room brushed it off at first...then when they realized how serious it is the changed there tune...my dear teacher was scared, her eyes were filled with tears. i felt for her. i felt for everyone... i was so sad that this happened. why would someone kill all those people that were innocent just making a living? so many endless questions were running through my mind. i came home and one thing made me break down...seeing the fear in my mothers eyes and hearing her say this simple statement.."we all better start preying"....that did it...i went in my room fell to my knees and cryed my heart out and preyed to the lord to save us and bring peace. this all happened on the day the world changed!
