i heard about this horrific tragedy while in my classroom. a few if ny students walked in and said that two tall buildings in new york had been crashed into by two planes. my first reaction was that it could have only been an accident. later , when i walked into the teachers' lounge i was shocked and dismayed when i saw this on tv. my life will be forever changed. i am hurting right now because i have an 11 year old son. the world will never be the same for him. i pray every night for the victims and their families who are suffering. i also pray that we can come together as a united country.
