i think that everything that happened on september 11th was a tragedy. all the lives that we lost and the damage that was done will never be able to leave our hearts or our minds. however on a positive note i want to say that i have never been more proud to be an american than right now. it amazed me to watch how a nation of strangers turned into one big family in a matter of minutes. we say everyday heros coming out of the dark and neighbors who never spoke giving each other hugs and offering support. i think that even through this awful time there is comforting in watching american citizens pull together.
