that morning i woke up and thought this will be a great 30th birthday. i was just getting dressed in my bedroom, and heard matt laurer(today show) live on my local country music station, talking about a plane hitting the first world trade tower, i ran to my tv and turned it on, looking at the tv in disbelief, i said to my wife come look at this, hearing matt say it looks like a small airplane, i said to my wife thats no small plane, the opening in the side of the bldg was too big, not 10 mins later the second plane started coming in (i saw it in the background, live! ) i said what the **** (you get my meaning) i thought this might have been a freak accident, but after i saw the 2nd hit, i knew it wasnt. i had to go to work, i kissed my wife goodbye and she said happy birthday, i said nice birthday to wake up to. i listened to the radio on my way to work, matter of fact i listened all day. i tried to do my work, then after awhile heard about the third plane hitting the pentagon, my whole office was almost at a stand still, as the whole world was hearing the news, all kinds of stuff was going thru my mind, as im sure thru all the minds of the people of the united states. we heard about the fourth plane, where was the fourth plane? nobody knew, everyone was a target then we heard the news of it going down in penn., i hope those aboard did try to stop the terrorists, the lord knows i would have! my family & i (my wife, i & our daughters 5yrs & 5 months) flew to seattle on sept 28th, i wore my "united we stand " t-shirt on the plane, i told my wife please do not stop me if something happens on the plane. my heart goes out to all of the people and their familes, aboard these flights. we all see these statements of " we will never forget " , well i will never be able to forget, i'll remember every september 11th for the rest of my life! these colors dont run ! osama bin laden will get what's coming to him ! osama bin laden will feel the wrath of the us, it is quiet, it is swift, we will find you! you will be taken down ! to our service men and women over seas fighting our fight for freedom, come home safe!
