America.....Bless God

i am 16 years old now. when i was in 3rd grade, i was sitting in my classroom around 9:00 a.m. i felt this big rumble as if something huge had hit the ground. my teacher said she would go see what was wrong. this was at 9:03........1 minute after the federal building had been bombed. she came back in and asked if any of us had parents, relatives, or friends who worked in the murrah building. at least 9 kids out of my classroom lost a loved one in that single minute. my uncle, who is a fireman was one of the first companies out to search and rescue those that they could. he has never been the same since. i am now in 10th grade and it has been 6 years since that incident. i was driving to school that morning of the 11 when i heard the trade center was hit. then, the pentagon. i thought it was nothing but a small single engine plane as did a large amount of us in oklahoma did. then, i got to school and they announced that the 2 planes had made the buildings collapse and the pentagon had been hit also. then, the 4th plane hit. we americans......we take what we have for granted. if you look at afghanistan.....their cities are nothing but rubble. not one single person woke up that morning thinking that the world trade center was going to be hit......it's because we have a huge sense of always being protected. now, all the media's probelms they think we have with our leaders don't matter. prayer in schools.....it doesn't matter if it offends anyone. every economy problem.....they all seemed like they were never there. this nation was founded on one thing...freedom. the only thing the has kept our nation free is our lord......god. freedom of religion....does not mean we accept every religion.....it simply means that we are free from religious oppression. the bible says...."blessed is the nation whose god is the lord." god is the only one who has kept america from harm and oppression. and maybe god has lifted his vail of protection up to make us humble ourselves.....and bless him for everything he has given us. he is the only way we will overcome.......because he is in control....no matter what. so..........america, bless god
