I'll Never Forget...

i will never forget september 11, 2001. i was in my spanish class and one of my friends told us that the twin tower #1 had been attacked. the way that he said it (" 'a plane crashed into the twin towers' ") i thought that he was possibly joking. but then, our principal came over the loudspeaker and informed us that the wtc had been attacked. the school allowed us to turn on the televisions in our classrooms and watch the covergage as it unfolded. i was totally shocked, and then i was really apalled that 1) someone could commit such a vicious act on the usa, and 2)the wtc was attacked in 1993; didn't that concern anyone? you had to have been naive not to think (or know) that the wtc was a target.
