As Americans, we are constantly assaulted by our own media. They bring us stories, film clips, and sound bites of how those around the world fear, and loath us.
Some still know us for who we are. The most kind and generous people the Earth has ever seen. Slow to anger, and quick to forgive.
The Good Book says to love your enemies. We've fed, clothed, and rebuilt the cities and industries of those whom we have vanquished.
I know of no other who has done the same.
Not everyone out there in the world has forgotten this, or us.
