the morning of september 11th, 2001

my daughter was only 1 1/2 months old that morning. i was living with a friend of mine, and she woke me up and said " america is under attack" i didn't know if i was waking up from a bad dream or what. i got up and prepared a bottle for my daughter, and sat down and watched the news. i couldn't believe it. i then called my daughter's dad... he didn't know anything about it, i told him to turn on the news. he couldn't believe his eyes! a friend of mine lost family members in the attack, i prayed for all the families that lost loved ones in this tragedy. my fiance is in the air force, so i know first hand what it is like to worry that someone you love may have to go to war. it's very scary.
