god is still in control

hey! my name is amanda husted and i'm a junior at sumrall high school in sumrall, mississippi. this story isn't about me, but it's about my cousin. she was in the pentagon on 9-11-01. where else would she be? she works there. yep, that's right a person in mississippi has family working in the pentagon and was effected by 9-11 just like everyone else in the world was. see, this is the story. my cousin is a protestant christian and every morning before she starts work, she and a friend go to the bathroom and say a prayer. while they were in the bathroom saying their morning prayer, the plane hit the pentagon. she works on the exact side where the plane hit and if she weren't in the bathroom praying, she would have been seriously injured or even worse . . . killed. but because she was in the bathroom praying... she was saved. that just proves to me, as a christian, how much god was in control on 9-11-01. good things happened through the bad . . . acts of god. . . and acts of heroism. i just hope that as americans we realize that god is a loving god and that just like this story about my cousin, he is in control. i just wanted to share this story of god's awesome power and good throughout 9-11-01. it just really touched my heart and i hope it touches yours as well. by the way. . . she is okay. may god bless you and your family and friends... and... ><> ><> ><> ><> god bless america <>< <>< <>< <>< john 3:16-17 . . . 1 john 1:9 . . . isaiah 41:10 . . . romans 12:1-2
