why 9-11?

ok. this is a poem. i wrote it for my world civ class. my teacher coach smith told us to write a poem or essay or song, anything as long as it related to 9-11 and he gave us the title why 9-11? so heres my poem. the day is september 11 schools are still in session 3rd period they say something happened it's on the t.v. at first i thought it didnt matter i saw the smoke oh shit! the towers! they're on fire! they're falling! wiat my bestfriend and my families there! dont fall! just wait! stop it please! i cried, i screamed, i shook with fear then war what is war? damn it! im only 16 why kill for the race? who's stronger and richer? september 11 is our too real disaster it's been one year since 9-11-01, now its 9-11-02 a year? already? one year is too soon so now we cry for this tradgedy this war we fight with silent screams this tribute to our fears the eleventh of september the american dream
