the day of september 11

that tuesday morning, i was just going to first period, which happened to be science, the school secretary came to my science teacher who had a family member working in one of the towers. the teacher left the class as the secrtary kept everyone calm. as we sat there trying to comfort each other, i saw a differet side of everyone. i saw a soft, compassionate side of everyone, people who hardly knew eachother we hugging and comforting each other. sadly, the family member of the teacher did not make it out. although i never knew this person, she automically had a place in my heart, this was a day that changed my life and made me thankful for eveything we have as americans, god bless america.
