 the day of infamy

on the morning of september 11 2001 i was on my second day of work at my new job, we had a nice view of the twin towers. i was parking a bus and my co-worker called me on my radio and said one of the towes was smoking, now being that it was only my second day on the job i blew it off as a joke. but then i noticed a gathering of people and i went over to see what they were loking at. and what i saw completly and utterly devastated me emmotionally and physically. as we all stood there watching in awe, at the first tower smoking, then boom the second plane went into the south tower thats when i lost it completly. and still to this day one month shy of the one year anniversary of that day of infamy, i am still affected by the events of that day, i have sleeping problems, it affected my job performance, it affected my personall life. overall it completly changed my mind on local and world events. god willingly none of my familly members were killed or injured in the attacks. but i wish i could say the same for my friends in which whom either were there or someone in there famlly was there an did not make it home to watch cnn on that misserable day. thank you for this chance to speak my mind
