its amazing how much can happen in one day. i had just sat down in third period studyhall the day of the 9-11 attacks. a kid came running in and said that a plane had just crashed into the world trade center and to turn on the tv. as the teacher turned the tv on i thought that it was an accidental plane crash. but then a second plane hit the other tower and it was announced on the tv that it was a restricted flight area. i couldn't believe it. all i could think about was who could've done this and why. a while later a kid in the back of the studyhall said " watch...next it will be the pentagon". he was right... about ten minutes later it was announced that the pentagon got hit. it was so wierd and scary i didnt know what to think. the rest of the day all the students watched the tv in every class. i wondered what my family was doing and thinking at home and if the people i worked with knew seeing since there is no tv or radio at my work. all i did that week was watch the news just wanting to hear about anything new i wanted to remember all that i could. i wished so much that i could've gone to nyc, just to help and be there for the others. it is horrible what happened and what so many americans went through. but i think it has helped to pull a lot of us together and it has shown other countries how strong we are especially in times of crisis and need.
