i dint even know what happened to my mom...

i have never been so scared in my life. i was at school in math class (first period) and i had to go to the office. i went to the office to call my dad, while in the background i could hear the radio in a different room. all i heard was "o my god! the second tower has just been hit" i tryed to ask questions and the secretary wouldn't give me any answers. i even told her that my mom was supposed to fly out that day and that i just wanted to know if something had happened. she never gave me an answer, so i went back to class. i was so worried that something had happened. and it even made it worse that my mom was on a plane that day. after about ten minutes after i got back to class, an announcement came on, "we have be attacked, we dont know much about it but the twin towers have both collapsed and they were hit by planes, if you need to come to the counsiler, please wait a few moments and she will be by to ask for students". by that time i was in teers. i finaly got home and immideatly called my mom on her cell phone. i was so scared that she wouldnt pick up. it rang once. then it rang agin, i didnt know if she would be alive...it rang a third time, she picked up. the first thing i said was "mom i love you so much!" and from then on i have respected life, friends, and family so much more than i ever had. i hope that people relize how luckey they are to have such a good home in such a great country! i love you america! Ü
