the day of the attack i was driving to school when i turned the channel on my radio to hear the radio dj just crying his eyes out as he told the awful story. tears came to my eyes as i listened to the awful story the awful thing that had happened. i got to school and i couldn't stop thinking about it. i didn't say a word because i couldn't believe it myself. i'm from iowa and i had never seen the wtc towers, but i had always dreamed of seeing them. almost all day in school we watched cnn for the most recent updates on the situation. i watched those towers collapse over and over again and to this day i can still see them collapsing in my memory. kids at school were running up and down the hallway being idiots wishing that a plane would crash into the school so we didn't have to be there. i was so mad they had no simpathy for those that were lost. i thank god that many people made it out. i prayed everynight for a long time that they would find survivors. i prayed for the familys the victims and the lost. god bless all those firefighters, cops, emt, and any other person that contributed to the rescue efforts. i continue praying for the families of the victims. i thank god for the heros not only at the wtc towers but in the pennsylvania crash. god bless you all! thank you. god bless america.

to anyone who didn't feel sorrow, simpathy, or pain for those that were lost or wounded i pray that you all realize how big of an impact this was and how many good people we lost.

god be with you all and i pray that this country stay united forever and that it never takes anything like this to pull us together again!
