 this was my movie

september 11, it feels like the name of a sad movie. i woke up that day to a telephone ring of a friend in panic saying, "we are going to war" and "they bombed the pentagon". needless to say, i didn't hit the snooze button.

the whole week before that day i was moving out of my house, working my ass off to save up money, and it gave me a big headache in the end... after that phone call i thought how none of that mattered.

i went to turn on the tv and tune in with the rest of america, watching in disbelief i randomly called friends and talked to them. i called my mom and she said my little sisters stayed home from school with my dad.

this is why i started writing. when i began to walk to my moms house, there was not a cloud in the sky. the grass was so green. the only thing i heard was the sound of wind chimes on peoples houses. i felt like i was in a movie and the camera was on me. it was one of the strangest feelings i have ever had, as if nothing at all made sence, but at the same time it did.

i walked up my mom's porch to have my little sisters greet me with big smiles and pictures of flags they had drawn..

september 11 was the saddest movie iv'e ever seen.
