praying for fellow firefighters

when it all started i was sleeping and my fire pager went off. all of us firefighters were called to stand by for nyc. not knowing why my firedepartment would go all the way to the city i asked my dad what was going on. he pointed to the t.v. and i was in shock. both towers had already been struck, then in the bottom corner a report that the pentagon was struck. i rushed to my fire house in tears. the firemen and i watched till the first tower fell. we all felt our stomach rise. one fireman looked at us all and said, do you know how many other firefighters were in that building! not all of us made it to the city, only firemen with certain training could go. i wasnt yet done with fire academy so i was left behind. praying that my comrads would return, which they did hours later. to this day i stillfell sorrow and allways will
