a day i could not take seriously

i didn't hear about the attack on the wtc until i arriveat 5th period in school. my teacher said the twin towers were hit by a plane. at first ithought he was joking but then i went online and saw the news. that day i had actually cut school to go out with lunch wit my friend. i didnt think how serious it was until i saw it on tv in this chines store i was in. i called my boyfriend then went to pick him up, he asked if i hard what happened and i said yes. while i was with him i sarted to cry because my aunt worked in the north tower in the world finanial center and i couldnt believe if she never met her boyfriend who got transfered to singapore which she went with, she would of been probably dead. she is so luck she went to singapore. after all this had been going on i wanted to help someway anyway. i still to this day want to go to ground zero. i went close by, but i just wanna get close. i wanna see how it is. these terrorist damaged the building i always dreamed of working in since i was a kid. all this had made me wanna join the e.m.t squad,. i wanna help people as much as i can.
