the day the world turned upside down

i woke on sep. 11 and quickly got dressed for school. it was then when my mother walked in and said, "nick, terrorists have crashed in to the world trade center". i became worried. i asked her if the buildings had fallen over. she led me downstairs, and before my eyes were the legendary twin towers. only they were not just standing freshly clean in the air, smoke was rising, and the other plane plunged into the second tower. i cried, and cried. it was then when the wo towers toppled over, spreading debris all over new york city. i couldnt believe it. cold blooded murder. god bless all the people who died
