I was at school at 8:45 AM and I did not hear about the attacks untill 9:55 AM. I began to get worried because all I knew about the bussiness trip my dad was on was he was on it. I later got home at 3:00 PM that day and asked my mother where my dad was. She said Washington, D.C. I was very scared then. If anyone knew my dad, you would indefinatly know his absetion with the military. With any of my luck involved if I were him, he would have been on a tour of the Pentagon. Later he finally got through to us and said he was alright. At the Homestead Air Force Base in which I am involved in the Civil Air Patrol there, my friend and my so-called second mother, 1st Lt. Kathy Paine was on lock down there after these terrible things. All my friends knew my pridicament because they know that I am involved in a auxilary of the US Armed Forces and I have many friends in New York, Washington, D.C., and that work at the Air Force bases all over the world. My mother now urges me to get good grades because she wants me in college not war, if it lasts that long, then she will be just wasting my time I say. My dad got home safe, all my friends are still at home, all except one that worked in the 109th of the WTC. Found and is in the hospital.
