The Day Of The Attack....

It was 3:10pm UK Time (10:10am American Time), I was walking home from school, I was near my house when suddenly some Canadian girls outside were shouting and screaming "Were gonna die, were all gonna die". I was thinking to myself "Okay, Weird". I went up to my room and went on my computer. I was talking to a friend of mine, he asked if i heard what happend to America, i said "Nope, just got home from school". He told me some planes were Hi-Jacked and were run into American Building. I was like "What?? where did you find this out" he said to turn to the news which i did. It was 4 o'clock (11:00am USA Time) when I turned on the TV. It said the following words "Good Afternoon, This is Channel 4 news. At 1:15pm UK Time, The Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in Manhatten New York, USA, And the Pentagon Were attacked by Planes." They showed the footage of the attacks, I was like "Oh My God", I couldnt help but shout "Holy F*** S". My Mum just got home from work and said "What are you shouting about??" I said New York was attacked by planes. She was worried cause one of my uncles works there. She phoned his house but the lines were down all day. I was glued to the TV All day, then at some point they said "A Plane has just crashed in Pennsylvania" I was so scared because this had to be the biggest terrorist attack on any Country I have ever heard about or seen in my life. Later in the day, they were saying a 5th plane was Hi-Jacked. I was like "F** H*, Stop this already!!". That was the saddest day in my life. I dont live In America, I live in the UK. But This was the scariest day of my life. Hours later we got through to my uncles house. My aunt had told us "he had left for a plane to london the other day and arrived safely yesterday" which was the 10th. Till this day I am thankful that I didnt lose family in that horrorific incident. I hope and pray that this doesn't go to Nuclear War. I would like to Send my condolences to those who have lost family or friends in that horrific Incident. I pray that more people are found alive then dead. This was not an attack on America, but an attack on the world. I hope Osama bin Laden gets what is coming to him (If it was him). Thank you for reading Steve Jackson.
